In honor of Black History Month, on Tuesday, February 23rd from 5:30-7 pm, the Wachusett Area Social Justice Alliance will be hosting a remote interactive panel discussion about the real challenges of navigating the healthcare system from the margins. The conversation will be lead by healthcare experts who have seen and/or experienced, first hand, how racism and discrimination impact Black, Indigenous and people of color as both practitioners and patients in the medical field. The panel will also explore ways to recognize and, whenever possible, disrupt blatant and subtle discrimination in healthcare systems.
